We have reported a method for generating a "homozygous mutant mouse ES cell bank" that allows for rapid phenotypic analysis (Horie et al., Nature Methods, 2011).
The following is the list of homozygous mutant ES cells that are currently available for distribution.
These cell lines are registered with the International Gene Trap Consortium (IGTC) through the Exchangeable Gene Trap Clones (EGTC) database at Kumamoto University. It is also distributed by the JCRB Cell Bank at the National Institutes of Biomedical Innovation, Health and Nutrition.
